Post Natal Services

Postnatal doulas provide flexible practical and emotional support postnatally for new parents and families in their own homes.

Sometimes postnatal doulas are booked antenatally.

If a family find they are struggling or feel the need for more emotional and practical support they sometimes seek to book a Doula after the  baby has been born

The length of time a postnatal doula spends with a family varies from the first few weeks to months.

Post natal  visit

When supporting clients I provide emotional, practical and informational support for families whether they are having their first child or their 7th.

Each family dynamic is different and the needs will vary, I can provide support with whatever is needed to help a family have a positive experience, learn to balance life with a new baby in the family.

I am there to support the family, to do what is needed (within reason!).

I am a trained breastfeeding helper and have experience in helping parents with infant feeding, I can help the parents to prepare and cook  nutritional meals for the family,  helping with dinner time, watching baby while parents nap, helping with older siblings and doing school runs and more.

As a Postnatal doula I typically start working  with a family in the first few days after birth but have worked with families with older babies too.
